How I Found My Way Here
I didn't always know that this would be the work I was meant to do.
I came to massage at a time in my life when I was looking for something different—a path that would allow me to learn, grow, and build something of my own. What began as a practical decision quickly became something much deeper.
In massage school, I found myself fascinated by the human body.
For the first time, I was learning how our muscles move, how our nervous system communicates, how the body adapts to stress, and how much information is held in the way we move through the world.
I began to realize how many of us grow up disconnected from our bodies. We learn to push through discomfort, ignore what we're feeling, and keep going without ever being taught how to really listen.
Then I began witnessing what could happen when someone was given the right kind of support.
One of the experiences that stayed with me was working with a client who had very limited movement in his shoulder. Over time, we worked together and watched that movement return. Eventually, he was able to lift his arm onto the table on his own.
It was a simple movement, but it changed the way I understood this work.
I wasn't just helping someone relax.
I was witnessing the body find more possibility.

That experience deepened my curiosity about what bodywork can offer—not as a way to fix people, but as a way to support the body's own capacity for change, adaptation, and restoration.
My own body has continued to be one of my greatest teachers.
I've learned how easily patterns of tension and holding can become habitual. I've learned that stress doesn't always announce itself clearly, and that sometimes the body has been communicating long before we know how to listen.
I've had to learn to slow down.
To pay attention.
To notice the difference between pushing through and actually being present with myself.
Those lessons have become part of how I work with others.
I believe that the person on my table is the expert on their own experience. I bring my training, knowledge, intuition, and years of working with bodies, but the session is something we create together.

That is why consent and communication are so important to me.
I want you to feel comfortable telling me what feels good, what doesn't, what you'd like more of, what you'd like less of, or when you'd simply like to pause.
You never need to perform being a “good client.”
You don't have to know exactly what you need before you arrive.
We can figure it out together.
Why Lunara
Lunara grew from a belief that caring for the body can be more than something we squeeze into our day.
It can be a way of coming back to ourselves.
A way of listening.
A way of remembering that rest, comfort, connection, and care are not things we have to earn.
My hope is that when you spend time with me, you leave feeling a little more connected to yourself than when you arrived.
Maybe something has softened.
Maybe something has shifted.
Maybe you have a little more space to breathe.
Maybe you've remembered that your body is not something you have to fight against.
It is the place you get to live.
And it deserves to be cared for.
